The Boston Red Sox enter their final games against the Oakland Athletics desperate to right a ship that has lost seven of the past ten games. The Boston bats have not been hitting the ball the way the front office would like, as anyone with Red Sox tickets could tell you, and when you don't score runs its tough to win games. The pitching staff that was too loaded just a few weeks ago is not looking that great, as Tim Wakefield is out, John Smoltz is not looking as good as many Boston Red Sox baseball fans with tickets were hoping and Brad Penny has not been great as of late. Not to mention the fact that Daisuke Matsuzaka has not been the pitcher the Red Sox paid more than $100 million for. So with a suspect pitching staff and bats struggling, the Red Sox are now looking up at the Yankees in the AL East Standings.

Even the bullpen, which was this team's strongest point, has seen a few tough outings. It seems that when one of the relievers struggle in a game they all do. While certainly fans that have gotten Red Sox tickets lately have not seen some great baseball, this team has some very good players that will turning it around soon. Kevin Youkilis has been struggling lately but he is one of the best hitters in the game. Dustin Pedroia has been great again and he will have to keep it up if this is going to make the playoffs. The offensive numbers of Jason Bay have dropped of a cliff and he has not been able to get much going at the plate. Anyone with Red Sox tickets in the early part of the season saw that this guy can hit, so hopefully he will get it all turned around. And JD Drew can be a real threat, but of course sometimes he is not. Jacoby Ellsbury has been electric recently and is one of the bright spots on this team. With him setting the table at leadoff there will always be chances to score.

And if this team is going to turn it around they better hurry up, because the AL East is a tough place to play. There are tons of people in New York looking for Yankees tickets because they want to see the top of the AL win games. They have been looking very good and you know that they want to get some payback on a Red Sox team that won all eight games they played this year. And of course you can't forget about the Tampa Bay Rays, a team that came of age last season. While they are a few games behind the Red Sox right now, they are nothing to sneeze at. There is no shortage of good players on the Rays roster and with guys like Evan Longoria and Carl Crawford they are going to be looking for some big wins.

Whatever happens you can still get plenty of Red Sox tickets and see how this team works out the kinks. With a trade around the corner the Red Sox might be bringing in Victor Martinez or Adrian Gonzales. And lets not forget that a Red Sox Roy Halliday trade could be right around the corner. This season has seen some very good moments, and that is only going to continue this season. Make sure that you don;t miss out on the fun and gt your Boston Red Sox tickets as soon as you can so that you don't miss out.
